With the release of Chapter 7, I'm going to be concluding Volume 1 of To Be A King. This volume has over 5800 renders, thousands of lines of dialogue, and hours of play time. The story will be continuing in Volume 2 later this year.

With such a massive amount of playable content now, I'll be removing the free version of To Be A King and charging $10.50 for the entirety of Volume 1. You will also get a special code to unlock the special image gallery (now at over 100 renders!) with this purchase.

My plan for Volume 2, as it will be released in chapters also, is to offer it as early access here on Itch.io for $10.50, giving you access to all the current and future content in Volume 2. You will also be able to purchase individual chapters for $3/each, if you'd prefer that. You will need Volume 1 in order to play Volume 2 (think of Volume 2 as an expansion pack here).

As to how many volumes To Be A King will end up being, I just don't know right now. It is possible that we conclude the game with Volume 2, but we will see. I've got many months of development ahead to continue the story. Thank you for all of your support and continued interest!
