I missed that July 22 release promise for Volume 2. Whoops. Here's what happened. I discovered that with the way Itch.io has pricing setup, it did not easily allow me to release Volume 2 on the main page and indicate that it was DLC, especially for those who had already purchased Volume 1. I decided to make this page the Volume 1 release, which is complete. Volume 2 work continues. For now, if you're desperate for your To Be A King fix, the first chapter in Volume 2 is available on my Patreon page. 

I'll be figuring out the best way to release Volume 2 here once I ensure two things can happen: It is clear you have to already own Volume 1, as Volume 2 is DLC. Volume 2 is in active development, but your purchase of Volume 2 will get you the entirety of it with updates to it as I release new chapters. 

I appreciate the interest here on Itch, as well as your generous support, and that's why I'm excited about something new that should be coming here in the next couple of weeks. I've completed a walkthrough for Volume 1. Right now it stands at 150 pages filled with not just the walkthrough part, but also character bios, special renders not seen before, and other details to help you enjoy the game. I'll be putting that up as soon as it is proofread and reviewed by my beta testing team.
